Goshen Teams Compete at the LISO Invitational
More than 110 teams with students from grades 6th through 12th gathered at Syossett High School for the first Science Olympiad competition of the season, bringing together competitors from the Northeast.
Goshen's Division B Team finished 13th out of 42 teams and earned six medals including a second place finish in the Density Lab event. Additional medals earned included a third place medal in Circuit Lab, a sixth place medal in Ornithology, and three seven place medals in Anatomy, Boomilever, and Experimental Design.
The Division C Team placed in the top 25 out of 69 teams in two of their events including fourteenth place for in Gravity Vehicle and twenty-first place in the Ornithology event. The Division B Team will head to the Rustin Invitational in West Chester, PA on January 4th and both Division B and C Teams will compete at the Sacred Heart University competition on January 25th.
