Goshen’s Sr. SciOly Team Heads to Yale

The Goshen Senior Science Olympiad team traveled to New Haven, Connecticut on January 27th to compete in the Yale Undergraduate Science Olympiad Invitational. Teams from New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Florida, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania competed in 25 different events including chemistry, epidemiology, forensic science, materials science, Rube-Goldberg engineering, and thermodynamics.
The Goshen team competed against 47 highly competitive teams in 25 different events including chemistry, epidemiology, forensic science, materials science, Rube-Goldberg engineering, and thermodynamics. The team placed 34th at the competition and will continue their efforts to prepare for the Regional Competition at SUNY Ulster on Feb 3rd.
