Junior Science Olympiad Team Brings Home 3 Medals from New York State Competition

On April 8 and 9, 2016, the C.J. Hooker Middle School Science Olympiad Team competed in the New York State Science Olympiad Competition hosted by East Syracuse-Minoa High School. Goshen students competed against 36 of the strongest teams in the state for the illustrious State medals in their events. Overall, the team placed 24th out of the 36 competing teams. Goshen earned 3 medals in different events and placed in the top 20 in thirteen events. The team won third place medals in Bottle Rockets and Wind Power and a 6th place medal in Experimental Design.
